Discipler is built to support mentorship within churches and ministries. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple and transparent.

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Availability and mentorship preferences
• Basic profile information, such as interests, goals, and ministry participation
• Mentorship activity, including meeting check-ins, responses, and follow-up notes
• Basic technical information needed to operate and improve the platform

How we use your information

• Match mentors and mentees
• Send reminders, check-ins, and follow-ups, including SMS messages
• Help ministry leaders understand engagement and program health
• Support, operate, secure, and improve the Discipler platform

SMS communication

• When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, Discipler may send text messages related to your church or ministry mentorship program.
• Messages may include meeting reminders, weekly check-ins, follow-up questions, and program coordination.
• Message frequency varies but is typically 1–2 messages per week during active mentorship programs (up to approximately 8 messages per month).
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of participation in your mentorship program.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
• You can request help by replying HELP or by contacting us at support@trydiscipler.com.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who sees your information

• Your church or ministry leaders and administrators, as needed to manage the mentorship program
• Discipler, as needed to operate, support, and improve the platform
• Trusted service providers, such as SMS delivery providers, only as needed to provide the service

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data
• We do not send spam
• We do not share your information outside your church or ministry context except as needed to operate the platform
• We do not share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent for marketing or promotional purposes

Your control

• You can request to update or delete your information at any time
• You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP
• You can contact your church or ministry administrator with questions about your mentorship program information
• You can contact Discipler at support@trydiscipler.com with privacy questions

Data security

• We use reasonable safeguards to protect information submitted through Discipler
• No system can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure
